WHAT PROCESS IS USED ON CUSTOMISATION?

We use a laser-marking technique that creates a permanent finish on the exterior of your Rambler ® Drinkware. That means as long as your customised YETI is in one piece, so is your customisation. This process creates the most premium, durable finish, which won’t crack or peel off over time. It will also keep your five-year warranty intact and ensures a quality customisation process.

Please note any customisation done to your product outside of YETI will void warranty.

 

HOW LONG DOES CUSTOMISATION TAKE?

Our production timeline shifts daily depending on overall order volume. We process all orders on a first-come-first-serve basis, and we promise we are working as hard as we can to get your order in your hands as quickly as possible. Once your custom order is in we aim to have your order dispatched within 5 days.

Processing times may vary during busy periods.

 

CAN I EDIT MY CUSTOM ORDER?

We are unable to edit orders after they are placed. Please ensure you’ve carefully reviewing your order prior to checking out. Please note the engraving will be positioned in line with the YETI logo on the bottle.

 

WHY WAS MY CUSTOM ORDER CANCELLED?

YETI reserves the right to cancel any orders that contain text that is offensive, political, emoji or subject to copyright protection. Orders that are cancelled will have the customisation fee refunded within 5-7 days the Rambler® drinkware ordered will be sent without customisation.

 

IS COLOUR MARKING AN OPTION OR IS IT JUST ENGRAVING?

Laser engraving is the only option.

 

WHICH COLOUR DURACOAT SHOWS CUSTOMISATION THE BEST?

While we think customisation shows up great on all of our Rambler® colours, you can see an example below of how the same image appears on our darkest and lightest colours. If you want to see how it looks on a different colour, no worries, you’ll also get to see a proof of your customisation before you place your order on the website.

 

CAN I MARK BOTH SIDES OF THE RAMBLER?

Yes. For an additional fee of $5 per unit we can mark the back side with the same or a different design (e.g. graphic on one side and a name on the other). You can mark the front of the product for a marking fee of $7 or both sides for $12. 

 

WHAT IS FORMAL MONOGRAMMING?

For three-letter monograms, YETI uses a formal monogram format. This means that the last initial will be displayed in the centre position. All you have to do is enter your initials as first, middle, last, and our systems will take care of the rest.

 

CAN I MARK BOTH SIDES?

Absolutely, for an additional $5 per unit you’re able to add your name, another graphic, or monogramming to the back of your YETI Custom.  

 

WILL YOU BE ADDING MORE IMAGES TO THE DESIGN GALLERIES?

We are consistently building new designs for our online galleries. The best way to stay informed of new images is by signing up to our database. You can sign up to our database here.

 

WILL YOU BE ADDING MORE PRODUCTS TO THE CUSTOMISATION LIST?

ORDERING 

HOW DO I ORDER A CUSTOM DRINKWARE?

You can view our customiser tool via the ‘customise’ button on the drinkware collection page or through our customise collection page.

 

WHAT ARE THE FEES ASSOCIATED WITH CUSTOMISATION?

There is a $7 marking fee for the front of the product for all monograms, text, or any of our design gallery images. If you would like to engrave the back of your drinkware theres an additional $5 fee added making the front and back fee a total of $12.

 

HOW MANY UNITS CAN I ORDER?

You can order up to 20 units per an order.

CAN I SHIP CUSTOMISED PRODUCT INTERNATIONALLY?

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY ORDER WHEN I ORDER A CUSTOMISED PRODUCT AND A NON-CUSTOM PRODUCT?

If you place an order with non-custom products and your customised Rambler® Drinkware order will be split into two. This will allow for your non-customised products to leave the warehouse quickly while our team work on customising your Rambler® Drinkware. 

 

CUSTOM ARTWORK

CAN YETI CREATE MY LOGO?

While we will do our best to make your design look great on the Rambler®, we do not create new logos or provide edits to uploaded artwork as part of our service. Be sure to upload your logo exactly as it is intended to look on the Rambler for the best outcome.

 

WHAT FILE TYPE DOES MY LOGO NEED TO BE?

Please submit your custom artwork in one of the following formats: .PNG, .JPG, .GIF, .SVG, .WEBP, or .BMP.

 

UPLOADING A SKETCH OR DRAWING?

1. Start with a rough draft: you won't want any eraser marks on your uploaded photo.

2. Use a blank white piece of paper and a thick, dark marker.

3. Simple line drawings work best.

4. Take photo in a well-lit area. Do not use flash.

5. Double check your proof: check for stray marks or dots and crop these out.

 

DO YOU HAVE GUIDELINES OR RESTRICTIONS FOR CUSTOM ART AND DESIGN GALLERIES?

LICENSED AND COPYRIGHT IMAGES/TEXT

YETI respects the intellectual property rights of others and we ask that you do the same. All images and text are reviewed upon submission and if your submission infringes any copyrights or trademarks, your order will be cancelled and refunded.

If you are submitting a company logo on behalf of your business, we recommend contacting our Corporate Sales team prior to placing your order. YETI will require appropriate authorizations for any licensed or copyright images or text.

 

TEXT

YETI has the sole discretion to reject any order that it considers is libellous, defamatory, obscene, profane, portraying irresponsible use of alcohol or other substances, advocating persecution based on gender, age, race, religion, disability or national origin, containing explicit sexual content or otherwise inappropriate for production.

 

POLITICAL

Starting with our first customised Rambler® Drinkware in 2015, we’ve used our best efforts to avoid creating custom products with political affiliations or associations. Because the process we use to identify political affiliations and associations involves human judgment, we may inadvertently accept an order and mark a YETI product with a candidate’s name or campaign slogan simply because we weren’t familiar with it when the order was placed. If that happens, it’s an honest mistake and shouldn’t be construed as YETI’s endorsement of a particular affiliation or association (unless, of course, we explicitly make a statement of endorsement).

 

PHOTOS

Due to our marking process, we are unable to convert photo-based images into a printable design. Since the lasers do not mark in greyscale, only black, lifelike images have to be turned into line drawings and most of the details are lost. Our customisation process is optimal for logos and line art (vector art).

 

ARTWORK QUALITY

Due to our laser marking process, we are unable to print fine lines, dots, highly detailed designs, or text smaller than 10 pt font. We accept images in PNG, JPG, GIF, SVG, WEBP, and BMP format. Your logo must be at least 300 px in width or height, excluding whitespace. A high resolution or vector version of your logo will work the best. Logos will appear in stainless steel. We are unable to print colour, and we are unable to crop or edit the logo once submitted.

 

INVERSION

We suggest a high-resolution version of your logo with a white background and a black or dark-coloured foreground. White logos on transparent backgrounds or logos that do not have enough contrast will not convert properly. Our lasers will mark the black areas of your image. You can use the inversion tool while customising your product to reverse the black and white areas of your image.

 

CROPPING

Any borders, lines, or stray specks in your image will appear on your customised product. You can use the cropping tool while customising your product to remove any edge lines or elements you do not wish to appear on your customised product.

       

HOW LARGE CAN YOU PRINT MY DESIGN?

Some things to remember: Your logo or design may not fill up the entire marking area, but artwork will be centred within the marking area. We are unable to move artwork around the marking area. You can click and drag the corners of your image to increase or decrease the size of your image within the marking area.

 

All Rambler products include a YETI logo embossed on one side. In order to make sure your image looks as clean as possible, our available marking area does not include this embossment. Duracoat products also include a laser-marked YETI logo, which affects the available marking area for those products.
