Fishing

Tom Rowland

Q: What goes through your head when you first wake up in the morning when you go fishing?

A: What is the weather doing? When am I going to get my workout in?

Q: Where is your favorite place to fish?

A: Key West, Florida

Q: If you could do anything better, what would it be?

A: There is not one thing that I could do better. I could do all things better. Life is about constantly learning and improving.

Q: Who are your heroes?

A: My dad, my mom, and my wife

Q: If there is any love-hate relationship with any aspect of what you do, can you describe what that is?

A: Not really…I love all things about fishing and guiding. The good and the bad, the easy and the difficult, the bountiful and the skunked. The bad days make the good ones that much sweeter.

Q: What sound or noise do you love?

A: I love the sound of water. The ocean, a river, a waterfall…any water.

Q: What would be your day job if you weren’t doing what you are currently doing?

A: I would be a trainer or aging professional athlete trying to figure out how to fish for a living.

Q: If you could bring anybody in the world with you to do what you love (dead or alive), who would it be?

A: Wow, tough one. There are so many people to choose from but honestly, I would want to be with my children more than anyone else.
