Q: Where is your favorite place to snowboard?

A: Give me a place that’s lesser known with no people and I’m happier than a pig in shit. These days conditions don’t have to be perfect. I just enjoy being in the mountains and the ocean. The Wasatch Mountains in Utah, Sierras in California, and anywhere in Alaska also comes to mind.

Q: How do you up your game year after year?

A: You are what you eat. I try to stay healthy and happy. Eating local and visit with family and friends often to keep me grounded.

A: Hunt for my own food.

Q: What part of you, or what you do, reflects a spirit of restlessness?

A: A nomadic lifestyle brought about by my snowboarding career and surfing from a young age. Twist my arm and I’m out the door, ready for the next trip. I’m a sucker for a good adventure.

Q: What sound or noise do you love?

A: Anything that has to do with weather and storms.

Q: What would be your day job if you weren’t doing what you currently doing?

A: Avalanche forecaster.

Q: If you could bring anybody in the world with you to do what you love (dead or alive), who would it be?

A: Dali Lama for constant enlightenment.
