YOUR MISSION’S ACCOMPLICE

1L GEAR CASE: WALK, WADE, AND WEAR

“This pack is versatile, secure, and sized just right for my essentials.”
- Josh Hutchins

For a walk/wade day targeting Murray cod, my day would typically be centered around two low light periods: first light to midday, then the last 3-4 hours before dark, and includes a decent walk, 5-10km (3-6 miles).
On a day like this where I have my Panga® Backpack (carrying my food, water bottle, and camera), the SideKick Dry® 1L Gear Case is the perfect complement. It fits my headlamp (essential for the lowlight hours), three Murray cod flies, pliers, leader, and my phone and keys. I particularly like how it easily attaches to the backpack when wading deeper, but can easily become a hip pack with the Sideclick™ Strap.

3L GEAR CASE: SURF MISSION ESSENTIAL

“The essential quick-access pouch I can trust to keep my delicate necessities safe.”

Whether I’m on the beach or in the mountains, I rely on this gear bag, which I typically keep fixed to my Panga® Backpack or Camino® Carryall. Snow is like sand where it just gets everywhere, so having a designated bag to keep the precious things dry is essential.

6L GEAR CASE: PACKED FOR THE FLATS

“I’ve been looking forward to using this pack all season. It fits everything I need for a day walking the flats."

This bag is essential because first and foremost, everything stays dry until I need it — hooks can rust and I don’t want my flies getting wet until I choose. So I know it’s all safe in this gear case. I prefer to wear it as a crossbody bag using the Sideclick™ Strap and with this larger size, I can fit everything I need for a day walking the flats. I also like how the 6L pack has a mesh pocket, so that’s where I keep my leader wallet. This pack is impressive because it’s large enough that I can fit a Yonder™ 600 ml Bottle in it, depending on how much other gear I have.
When I am on the river guiding in Montana, I use the bag similarly: I leave bigger, heavier cargo boxes on the boat and use this gear bag to help me to be better prepared and organized while guiding clients.
